|Description||After the climatic end to Matto3, Jack Carver is back and out for revenge against the man who shot him. |
Matto4, the next mod in the series by the Mattomedia team, picks up where Matto3 left off in an all new action adventure. Taking full advantage of the powerful Cryengine, Matto4 includes:
A feel good, fast-paced and gripping storyline.
New characters brought to life with fresh voice acting and custom animations.
New weapons: Walther P99, Benelli M3, Steyr Aug, H+K mp7's and a few extra surprises.
Fun game play ideas such as the shootable fire extinguishers which blind AI and launching gasbottles like rockets!
Detailed and atmospheric level design which takes you from swamps to high tech labs, sunny beaches to thunder storms, underground sewers and old mines.
Typical Matto humor in the form of hidden content, cheesy dialog and gimmicks.
Mattos world deviates from FarCry's in that Jack Carver is an agent for the CIA working on location, undercover. With some help from his friends he must foil the bad guys plot, blow up some stuff and get the girl, all in a days work.

I too thought the FC MP servers were all gone years ago. I would play them all night long when I first got into FC. There were always a lot of cheaters, so I downloaded a known cheat program and used it to hunt and kill the cheaters exclusively. A year after that and the FC MP sites started to fade away.
Only mp i played was TDS,FarCry not that much.
Well, for a person with 0% of "real social life", I am a relatively chatty guy.
The saddest thing is, I never played Far Cry, on a MP server :'(
I didn't experience what you did.
I'm seriously crying now...
Oh wait, I still can
@Krieger; Man I hear ya and understand. I feel for ya. I really do.
I'm sorry to hear for you that Ubisoft shutdown the Far Cry server. But keep in mind, there are not too many of us here who are into multiplayer or anything related to it in that sense, I guess, so maybe that's why you haven't seen much response here about your news.
And honestly, I thought Ubisoft had already done away with anything related to Far Cry long ago.
@Admer; Actually it's your talkativeness or chatty personality here in the Chatbox and on the forums. You remind me so much of Kiper when he first registered here back in 2011 or 2012. (go back to 2011 or 2012 in the chatbox, you'll see what I'm talking about) He was quite the active poster back then.
Now don't take that as a putdown or anything, BTW. As a matter of fact, I enjoy reading your posts. So just keep right-on posting. ; )
Have I written it wrong? or have you guys fell into the mirror and now is everything backward^^
I've said that Ubisoft has stopped they Services for FarCry. Now the Community made a new MP Network.
I read them 2 days ago. Does it mean that LR2 will not work?
Seems like nobody really seems to be interrested on these bad/worse news about FarCry. :-/
Kiper amazed me how comfortable he was with CE1, and how innovative. I think he was only twelve or so when he started. But he might have been even younger. Also, he had crappy old computer equipment to work with.
39Modder may hold the record for youngest mapper/modder though, his initial version of Mutant Crysis being highly playable and enjoyable.
Inspiration for all of us.
Our names end with an "er", probably?
Admer reminds me of Kiper. Why is that?

Haven't taken the time to stop by here an say anything in, what feels like forever.
Wish I had more free time to stop by here more often than I do now. like I did in the past. I find it hard to believe I was only an early teenager when I joined this site.. Kinda wish I still was.
College, work, and medical issues (my father's health hasn't been doing too well. Nearly slipped into a coma on us last night Dx). Life hasn't been too fair on me, but hasn't been too terrible either nowadays.
I miss the simpler times.
Don't worry too much about me, we're doing rational fractured expressions this month or two, just revising on it in school, it's something we did in 8th grade.
But, emphasizing on the "too much" part:
-There was a test last week
-Only 3 of us had C's, while the rest had D's and F's, except for a cheater who got an A.
-I was the one who got a C
-I'd never ever cheat in my life
-But our marks weren't signed into the class' journal, except for that dirty A.
-After that, I slightly improved in algebra
But hey! After that initial test, we've started with geometry, yay!
I've finally realised what is a plane, thanks to modelling and mapping.
After 5 good years of conservatism, I can say that I like maths.
If you wanna become a programmer, pay attention to math class. It may seem useless but I regret not paying attention every day. ;_;
