Author M.T. Pockets
Description This is my first ever creation for a game so go easy!

Created for a college project that had certain requirements.

Thanks to Matto (Matto4) and GenTiradentes (TMod) for their entities and scripts.

One entity also used from the Entity Expansion Pack.

Thanks to my game testers - you know who you are.

Not a very bad mod. The game starts on a pier, with a beretta gun in front of you. A guy with very bad audio quality tells you what to do. Unfortunately, I wasn't be able to find the second keycard. An unique aspect of the mod is that further you proceed in the level, the time goes by and it even becomes night. (The level starts at daytime) There are some new weapons like that beretta and the MP7's from Matto4. Some of the outer islands are connected by teleporters. Anyway, quite nice mod and really worth a try.

This is oddly made mod. Is this a map?
This should be installed as a mod, run as a mod, but then load from console (~\map bren).
I found in my notes that author explained on the http://www.farcry-maps.com why it did .
I remember I played it a few years ago and I had trouble with keycards.
Later I played a few times and everything is OK. This keycard is on the pier in the bay (or under a pier?) in a wooden crate, which you must shoot with a rifle.
Great ending - at night you get to the helicopter by a beach full of soldiers equipped with night vision.
I've never had any bugs, all is OK.
In total, it is a good mod.

Edit:
First keycard there is in crate on the pier.
The second one there is near a tent, at the point where the ladder are.
Way back to the beach can be shorten - by cableway.

quote marekzi
"This should be installed as a mod, run as a mod, but then load from console"

I placed it in the MODs folder naturally, and made the Target line for my desktop shortcut this:

"C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry\Bin32\FarCry.exe" -devmode -MOD:BrenMOD "map bren"

(Taken from the BrenMOD DEVMODE.BAT by the author. An interesting load path non?)

Cool mod, with day/night progress and well concealed keycards.

I also tried simply run this mod:
- normally, as a mod from Menu of Far Cry - works just Far Cry only, not BrenMOD,
- from shortcut with Target line "C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry\Bin32\FarCry.exe" -MOD:BrenMOD -devmode ( as I run all mods usually) - the same, only Far Cry.
In your target line is "map bren" - You also run the map in the mod.

The easiest way is to go to the scripts folder, then to Menuscreen & edit the Campaign.lua, just replace Training level with the one in Bren mod & save.

Now you can load the mod & click on Campaign button & the mods level will start.

hmm, easiest way?
I think easiest way is run of file "BrenMOD with DEVMODE.bat". It there is in C\...Mods\BrenMOD
