Yeah a few of us had the problem with what you saw in my pics. No animation and the rifle sticking out in front of the player like that. So I looked inside the .cal file on my end it was totally written wrong. What was written in the .cal file was totally different then what was written under the ANIMTABLE in the AK47U.lua file.
 
Then there was another problem with the AK47U not having ammo on startup of the level. Some of us had a big fat '0' ammo, so the rifle became of no use to us at the beginning. But I discovered a few minor scripting errors in two key Lua files. Somebody put

under the FireParams in the AK47U.lua file.  When it's suppose to be

like I figured Sniper originally intended since he created the actual ammoAK47U and CGF object for the rifle and he even made a AmmoAK47U.lua file. Then somebody put

under the local params in the PickupAK47U.lua when it should have of been

So anyway, after I found all of that in my file versions, you might want to take a little looksie inside your version of AK47U.cal file, Tnlgg. Something in there might be written wrong as to why you aren't getting the AK47U reload animation.

Running FC on Win 7 Pro using ver 1.33 Had to remove the Bin32 folder. Everything is fine (after Purifier's fixes)  except two grey spheres (that roll around like huge basketballs). Very small levels and not much to do. Designed like HL2. File is huge due to massive intro video.

What about the AK47 at the beginning of the game? Did you have the same problem me and Modsuki had with it's animation?

Yep. Just like you showed. But I used your fixes and everything mostly works. The second time I played it after the fixes those grey balls were gone. It also seems that I don't always pick up the M4 and AK47 ammo - just every once in a while. There's plenty of ammo even so.

It's quite lovely. I gather the 2nd level just ends at the blue door?

Well I figured you might have had the same problem (thanks for confirming that BTW), since you were using the 1.3 patch like some of us still do. But I checked both maps in the editor and I didn't see any AK47 ammo lying around on either one of those maps. So I think Sniper's intentions on that, was to just have a full auto rifle at the beginning, with enough ammo to get you through a firefight with the first military police mercs you engage on the street, until you got your hands on one of their M4s. At least it seem like it was meant to be that way to me.

It sure is! wink.png And yeah looking at the 2nd map in the editor. It looks like it does end at the blue door.
